Dr. Naomi Rose of the Animal Welfare Institute, world renowned cetacean expert, visits Shanghai Haichang Polar Ocean World in China in 2019 and discusses in depth her experience of the welfare of Orcas, Belugas, and all other marine mammals there. As co-author of published scientific paper “The Case Against Marine Mammals in Captivity“, Dr. Rose is a leading authority on why cetaceans can not possibly thrive in a marine park environment. She is an active advocate for the end of cetacean captivity and a spokesperson for CCA during her tours of China.
